National Pediatric Readiness Project

Pennsylvania’s EMSC program participated in a nationwide assessment of hospitals, called the Pediatric Readiness Project.  This assessment involved all Pennsylvania Emergency Departments, began in April of 2013, and has just recently completed data analysis.

Partnering organizations on the Pediatric Readiness Project include:  The EMS for Children Program, The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Nurses Association.
